Rules

  • Each word uses the wheel’s letters, each letter once, and has at least 3 letters.
  • A word that fits a slot fills it. A real word with no slot counts as a bonus word.
  • The puzzle is solved when every slot is filled.

How it ranks words

Words are grouped by length, longest first, since a word that uses every letter is the best first try. Inside a group they are ordered by how common they are in everyday English. The game’s words are usually common ones, so they tend to come first and rare words come last.

Limits

  • The solver’s word list only approximates the game’s. The game may refuse a word shown here, or take one that isn’t.
  • The solver doesn’t know the crossword’s layout. Choose a slot’s length and type the letters showing in it to narrow the list.
  • Your wheel, the words you’ve tried and the slot are saved on this device for 30 minutes, so you can switch to the game and come back. Start over clears them.
